The project cooperates with many national organizations the Egyptian Organization for Standardization (EOS), the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) and the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC) as well as the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI).
The project provides institutional support, capacity building and developing policy and regulations recommendations. The project also provides capacity building to National private consultants and equipment vendors through an extensive training program on EnMS (focusing on ISO 50001) and (SO).
The IEE project’s main beneficiary, which is the industrial sector, receives support in several methods starting from capacity building to managerial and technical staff, EnMS implementation on-site technical support, energy audits and implementation of energy efficiency projects.
